    Morning all. I have a inherited an electric gold melting furnace for melting metals. I have had it safety tested and purchased some new graphite crucibles for its use. Question, do I pretreat the graphite crucible with borax powder in the same way as the ceramic scorifier? Thanks so much, Les.
